Blog Tour: Renegade Lady by Dawn Martens & Emily Minton

Minions! Oh do I ever have a treat for you!
Have you ever witnessed something go from a single thought to a kickass adventure
with probably one of the strongest female leads in a NA novel that you'll ever see?
I did.
Which is why I'm HONORED to be apart of the Renegade Lady blog tour!
If you're new to the MC world, this book is for you.
If you've been an Old Lady from the get go-THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU!
I'll elaborate more on this in a bit.
First, let's take a look at the cover (DSBJ!) and take a moment to read through and process the synopsis.

Renegade Lady by Dawn Martens & Emily Minton
Amazon ✦ B&N  Itunes

Jenna “Ice” Chandler grew up as part of a motorcycle club.
She considered it her home, until one wrong move made it her prison. After months of abuse, she is rescued by Chipper, who takes her to Big Clifty, Missouri, home of the Renegade Sons MC.
Kiddrick “Kidd” Jones is the president of the Renegades. He knows there is something special about Ice the moment his older brother, Chipper, brings her into the club, but stays away, because she is too young.
When time comes for Ice to take her place in the club, she has two choices, become an old lady or a club whore. Not believing in love and knowing a man can never be faithful, she decides to earn her spot on her back.
With each passing year, Kidd's feelings for Ice grows and the urge to make her his becomes stronger. Frustrated and jealous, he finally decides it’s time to make her his.
Will Ice finally thaw out and give love a chance, or is Kidd fighting a losing battle?

What does Bindi have to say about it:
Bindi says, why the hell didn't you read this...like...last week!? Guys. This book is one of a kind and I'm not just saying that because I was an Alpha reader for it. I could have just lied and said I never saw it transform into the epic story of a girl who was dealt a shitty hand in life and turned it into something inspiring and damn near beautiful.

No.

I could have swore up and down that this was just as good as all of the other MC books that are flooding the market and follows the formula that MC's aren't really that bad and people fall in love with their soul-mates all.of.the.time.

Nope.
I'm being real with you when I tell you that THIS is one of the best books that 2014 has had to offer so far.
Jenna "Ice" Chandler has been through hell and back. You witness just how brutal it is during the fucking prolog of the book! (You can read that HERE btw for free!)

GOD. Chipper's point of view (in the Prolog) about the trauma that Jenna was put through ripped my heart out. If certain subjects are a trigger for you, definitely take heed to the warning that is plastered all over this book. It is raw. It will hurt, but know that Jenna is a survivor, and her story will give you a fucked up sense of hope.
You're probably thinking to yourself, Bindi what sets Jenna's story about life in the MC apart from the rest? Umm...probably the fact that Renegade Lady touches on the dark side to being apart of a Motorcycle Club. One of my most favorite things about his novel is that Jenna is NOT a damsel in distress. Yes, she was rescued by Chipper in the beginning, but home girl is far from living in a world filled with rainbows and sunshine, and she does NOT need a master.

Enter, Kidd.
Kidd is a hero in this story in every since of the word.
He fucks up, of course.
He's a male after all ;)
But what sets him apart from 99.9% of most New Adult Hero's is that he doesn't over shadow Jenna. He let's her flourish and become her own person even though he doesn't agree with the path that she's chosen to take at all. That in itself is unique, because honestly how many times have you read about a man who isn't full blown Alpha male 24/7. It's a rare commodity these days! Although Kidd does break out a few quips to help steer his Old Lady in the right direction ;)
I loved that Kidd knew he did Jenna wrong and was willing to admit his mistakes in the hopes of getting back the girl he loves. Plus it didn't happen instantly. Years passed people.

YEARS!

Guys. Really. I could go on for DAYS about the novel, but I'd never do it proper justice. So let's take a moment to learn a little about the two evil genius that created the Renegade Sons and then give YOU a chance to win 1 of *5* copies of Renegade Lady!
